First, the Nobel Peace prize going to Tunisia's National Dialogue Quartetfor their work mediating the transition from a strongman rule to multiparty democracy.
Russia intensified its air campaign in Syria this week, including missiles fired from the Caspian Sea over Iran and Iraq. Some are talking of a World War Three brewing over Syria, which may be an overstretch. But is it an overstretch to talk of a third Intifada what with the violence spiralling first in Jerusalem and the West Bank?
